Rajesh Khanna in Bigg Boss 4

Rajesh Khanna, the first Bollywood superstar to be the part of Bigg Boss 4. Most of the aunties now in their 50 and 60s would secretly confess that they had a massive crush and even lust for Rajesh Khanna, in his heydays. The 67 year old actor, (real name: Jatin Khanna) entered Bollywood through an All India Talent Contest jointly organized by United Producers and Filmfare.

Rajesh Khanna went on to give an unbeatable record of 16 successive blockbusters between the period 1969 to 1971 which included Amar Prem, Aradhna, Kati Patang, Phir Wohi Raat, Hum Dono and Anand, which is still a favorite of many. But his bad phase began post 1976 when none of the films could match the popularity of his previous films.

Rajesh Khanna is a controversial figure ‘kaka’ loves his bottle and there is still ‘nasha’ in his eyes. He used to date Anju Mahendru in the 60s and then married Dimple Kapadia when she was just in her teens; separated from her and was romantically linked with Tina Munim. Of late the relationship between Kaka and Dimple Kapadia has blossomed again. The talented actor is the father-in-law of the current superstar Akshay Kumar. Must be interesting to see how Rajesh Khanna does in Bigg Boss 4, imagine him saying ‘Sangeeta/Veena/Mandira/Neetu, I hate tears’ when one of them breaks down into sobs.
